my Mission
Since I started my own consultant company in 2003 I have been operating in the field of media, marketing and communications, both as self-employed, freelance and a member of staff. My job titles and work tasks have expanded over the areas of journalism, fashion styling and project management to event and content production, communication strategy and marketing consultation.
My work as a brand consultant
All this led up to my new company set up 2016 where I turned both my visual and strategic expertise into the role of Image and Brand Consultant helping brands to build and develop their identity (with profiling and storytelling) as well as a personal Image and Style consultant to high-profiled women and men in various areas of business.
My job as a teacher
Since starting my company back in 2003 I have also been teaching high school courses in subject areas I also work within; media, marketing and communication and entrepreneurship and business development. I find great pleasure in passing on my knowledge to young people and at the same time act as a mentor and role model for them to get the confidence they will need to move on to further education and work life. In return I will get an insight into their lives, their values and behaviors, failures and successes, improvements and developments.
Combining consultant work with teaching
For me this is not just a mission, it is an obligation for all of us with a broad career behind us. Giving back is one of the most important things in life according to me.
So after teaching various courses parallel with my consultant company for 15 years I realized that I will never be able to let go of teaching or engaging with young people. At the same period of time I came to realize I could benefit a lot from this inside knowledge in my role as a brand consultant. I am now also educating my client companies on how to develop and direct their brand, products and services to suit tomorrow’s consumers, i.e. the young who will soon start to earn their own money, form their identities and take stand on various factual issues.
My goals
There is a lot to gain here for both sides; young people getting in contact with companies and entrepreneurs at the start of their career and for these companies to get to know and befriend their future target group.
The mission
So today I have set out for a “new” mission; to build friendships between today’s companies and tomorrow's consumers, shaping strong brands for the future.
